Serangan 11 hari ke atas penduduk Gh.aza itu telah meranapkan banyak bangunan kediaman, pejabat kerajaan dan mengorbankan ratusan nyawa yang syahid. Anggaran kerosakan yang diterima oleh mereka melebihi USD244 juta dan sudah tentu ia memerlukan satu tempoh yang agak panjang untuk membangunkan semula Gh.aza yang sudah ranap itu.
